MANAGING PARTNER

BOLUWATIFE JOHN SANYA is the Managing Partner of Paddle Solicitors. He is an Arbitrator and mediator. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of law, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. Thereafter, he was admitted to the Nigerian bar in December 2017 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Since his admission to the Nigerian Bar, he has been in active litigation and has a vast knowledge in corporate commercial practice.
In 2018, he attended a copyright course organized by Harvard Law School and has since then attended several courses organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization. He holds an international certification in intellectual property valuing and auditing from the World Intellectual property Organization, Korean Intellectual property office and Korea Institute of science and technology and Korean invention promotion association.
Boluwatife Sanya is an Associate-member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom).
He regularly advises and proffers solutions to individuals, local and International corporations on how their intellectual property can be valued and audited.
Boluwatife Sanya is an author of several publications on law, society and nation building. He was appointed in 2020 as the special adviser to the Deputy speaker of Ogun State on Technology and Intellectual Property related matters where he served for months.

SENIOR PARTNER

MERCY TOLULOPE ABUDU is the Senior Partner of Paddle Solicitors. She is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State where she obtained a Bachelors’ degree (LLB). She was admitted into the Nigerian Bar in December, 2017 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Since her call to the Nigerian Bar, she has been active in Litigation and corporate commercial practice.
MERCY ABUDU is a seasoned litigator and an expert on issues of law bothering on women and children. She is an intellectual property valuer and Auditor. She participated in the Copyright course organized by Harvard Law School in 2021 and Intellectual Property courses organized by World Intellectual Property Organization between 2018- 2021.
She is a Mediator and Arbitrator. She bagged a certification on Domestic Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom) in 2020. She also attended a professional course on managing emotions organized by the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators in 2020.
